Our July Design Partner: Blasius Countertops
We had a great presentation from Alex Wood of Blasius Countertops in July on Cambria quartz countertop materials. With Alex’s unique expertise and insights, our participants were able to learn all about this essential component of any kitchen or bathroom design and to get inspired for their own home remodeling projects.
Here are some of the key insights Alex share with us:
- Cambria is family-owned and American-made and owns 3 mines of quartz.
- Alex gave participants the opportunity to watch two videos explaining the Blasius fabrication process and the Cambria materials process. It was very informative and showcased their beautiful facilities and specialized equipment!
- Cambria quartz has one of the highest quartz contents in the industry at 93%. To be qualified as quartz, the material has to have at least 50% quartz.
- Cambria quartz offers a range of colors and patterns that are inspired by nature, fit the latest styles, and are guaranteed for life.
- Quartz is harder than stainless steel, easy to care for with just soap and water, and requires no sealer, making it a low-maintenance countertop material.
- Alex unveiled four new color patterns during the presentation, giving us a unique insight into the latest styles. The new color patterns including Kenwood, Claremont, St. Isley, and Traymore Bay.
The presentation was very well received, informative, and engaging. All participants appreciated learning from Alex’s expertise and gaining insight into the benefits and range of styles quartz offers. Keep an eye on our social media pages for more upcoming events!
